mts Perforator GmbH manages three product lines. We design, manufacture and maintain Tunnelling Technology for  trenchless installation of supply- and disposal tunnels by pipe jacking and segmental lining method. The diameters range from ID 200mm to ID 3000mm. Our products offer unique features, giving our customer new opportunities in tunnelling.

Auger Systems - the economic solution

mts Auger system is an economic solution for soft soil (Sand, silts, clay) without any boulders and low groundwater level. It is suitable for small to medium diameters and short to medium jacking lengths. The excavated spoil is transported via Auger Train to the start shaft, a spoil treatment is not neccessary. The pipes are pushed in directly after the Cutter Head. The machine is easily operated from the Power Pack Container an the surface. Due to our laser based guidance system, a very high accuracy is reached.

 Slurry Systems - for all conditions

In difficult soil with high levels of ground water, a slurry conveyance system is essential. It is suitable for very long distances and large diameters. In the Cutter Head, the excavated spoil is mixed with water and is then transported to the surface. Here, water and spoil get seperated and the water maintains in the slurry circle. Our unique Cutter Heads can operate in 4 different modes according to the ground condition. Additives or betonite in the slurry circle are not required.

EPB Systems - Earth Pressure Balance 

In fine soils with low water permeability an EPB system can be the right choice.  The excavated soil gathers in the excavation chamber and, together with the advancing force of the machine, it builds the support pressure. The soil is being transported out of the excavation chamber by screw conveyor and is then brought to the launching shaft by conveyor belts or lorries. This method is very economic, especially when it comes to long tunnel distances.
