Pipe Bursting System model RBA 48
A small yet robust hydraulic pipe bursting system for underground replacement of gas, water and sewage lines in diameters ranging tom 60 to 300 mm max. Suitable for pipes manufactured in grey cast and ductile iron, steel, concrete, clay, plastic and fibre cement. The system injects grout at high pressure as the pipe is simultaneously pulled into the bore, thus ensuring that the pipe fragments cannot damage the replacement pipe.
This compact design facilitates easy installation, dismantling and operation in confined or difficult site conditions such as cellars and pavement areas. The pipe bursting system can be operated in both directions at the same time if required, with installation of the pulling rods from one side and pipe replacement on the other.
