PBA 38/40/85

Compact multi-purpose thrust boring machines designed for house connections and steel pipe jacking of up to 56Omm O.D. Machines are used in combination with re-usable or lost steet casings. Machine bed and additional extension frames allow the use of 6m tong casings. Soils are mechanically removed towards the working pit by the rotating string of augers. Cutter heads can be replaced when soil conditions change. PBA 30140185 machines can be equipped with a navigation system and pilot rods in order to keep tolerances required for house and main sewer connections of 150 to 400 mm I.D. The st of pilot rods allow a directionally correct soil displacement intrig axis. Directional control and surveying is done by monitor, optic system with CCD camera and diode target plate. After successful pilot drilling, laying of reusable steel casings (diameter identical to definite sewage pipes) with inside arranged augers is done, being the steel casings properly and in boring axis coupled to the pilot rods by a reaming stage. The string of pilot rods is pushed by the reusable casings towards the reception pit where they are recovered. The third working phase comprises the laying of sewage pipes (generallg clay pipesi. Pipes are attached to the PBA, Jacked-in, and push re-usable steet casings towards reception pit for their recovery.

Small but multipurpose thrust boring machine for cable laying and house connections.

Easy to handle and easy to dismantle because of its special design, and therefore suitable for smallest site conditions as in pavement areas and in cellars.

Two different lengths of machine bed are available for pipe lengths of 500 and 100Omm.

PBA 20 for square working pits

Small but sturdy equipment with a large range for applications in cable and pipe laying. Low set-up times due to a perfected design. Solid steel construction altows use of extension frames for laying of longer strings of steel casings.

Short drivage in 'soil displacement method' followed by reaming for PVC or PE HD pipe laying are makeabte. Steered house connections can be done with proper even ancillary equipment. Even drilling in harder formations is feasible in conjunction with a hammer system.

Machine beds are available for pipe lengths of 500 and/or 1000mm. This machine is able to work in round or square pits or in man-holes.

Thrust Boring
Laying of steel pipe and product pipes. continuous spoilage removal by augers. Installation of castins by machine and extension frames.

 

 

Towing Method
Laying ofre-usable steel pipes until receiver pit. PVC pipe is then attached to steel pipes by a pulling chain and installed by towing back re-usable pipes.

 

 

PE Pipe Laying
A string of pilot rods is pressed intil the receiver pit (attention: displaceable soil required!).Then, the pilot bit is replaced by a pulling head, the flexible endles pipe is attached to it and pulled back to the working pit.

 

Non-Steered House Connections
First phase: Pressing of steered pilot rods (attention: displaceable soil required!). second phase: Application of a reaming stage with steel pies and inside augers. Third phase: Product ppie is pushed in.

 

'Berlin construction'
Radially aranged house connections from existing man-holes. Above stated methods of pie laying can be used.
